Scott Kuhn Photography is happy to announce we will continue offering photo services to recreation department teams in 2026.  Effective January 2026 we have implemented some changes to improve the way in which we do business in this area. While long time clients may find some changes confusing, each has been applied for the purpose of ensuring that we can provide a top-notch experience moving forward, with our services as well as our photo products, to each and every client.

Recreation Department Team Policies, Effective January 2026

• A $10.00 advanced deposit is now required for each team member who will be photographed individually. The deposit is to ensure compensation to the photography team for time dedicated to taking the player's photos as well as the post-production work involving editing and placing the photos online for preview/purchasing access. This deposit must be made prior to photo day, or your child must have the fee in hand on photo day in order to be photographed. We accept Venmo and cards for those who wish to prepay.
• Players who do not wish to be photographed individually are still invited to pose in the team photo at no cost.
•  This deposit is non-refundable nor transferrable and can only be used as a credit toward product purchases.
• All clients will now be directed to order online, a process that will ensure selections match your requests and will result in faster turnaround.
• When paying the deposit, you will receive a unique promo code from us, which will allow you to claim a $10.00 discount/coupon off of your order when purchasing photos online.  Simply place your code in the promo box at the time of your order.
   

Why are these changes considered improvements?  By moving to online ordering only, it will ensure that each client has the opportunity to view the portraits taken, select the ones they like best, and to crop them as they wish before finalizing the sale.  This solution helps us keep our prices in check as it eliminates the costs associated with reprint requests due to photo preference miscommunications. Our online partner offers very efficient turnaround, with your products typically landing in your mailbox within 2-3 days of your order date. Packages including prints and buttons will be available online, as well as individual digital downloads. Plaques are not available online, however they may continue to be ordered directly from us for the current charge of $40.00 for store pickup (east of Eton) or $45.00 for delivery/meetup. Digital download packages ($65.00) are also not available online and must be ordered direct. Email [email protected] with 'Plaque Request' in the subject line to initiate a plaque order, or 'digital package' in the subject line to initiate a digital package.

Middle/High School Teams

• For certain teams, a per player sitting fee may be charged.  If applicable, your coach will be advised of the fee ahead of time and asked to pass the information along to you. If a fee is implemented, you must pay prior to photo day, or your child must have the fee in hand in order to be photographed.  We accept Venmo, Cash, Cards and Checks.  In applicable cases, the fee will be $10.00
• Any time a $10.00 fee is required it will be returned in the form of an online credit which parents/team members may apply to any purchase that they make.
• All players will be included in the team photo regardless of whether or not they pose for individual portraits.
